After a night of partying, David drunkenly falls from a terrace while his friend Juan watches helplessly. David's body hits a car and shatters into a thousand pieces. Since no one else seems shocked by this, Juan sets out to discover what happened, finding himself immersed in a labyrinth of fleeting romances, unbreakable friendships and pianos falling from the sky.
